Rocks are indigenous part of the Yercaud hill station. Lady’s seat is a rock that was formed in the shape of seat, making it appear comfortable. Providing incredible views of the clouds, mists and greenery around, this Lady’s Seat was once the favourite recreational spots of the British females, residing in Yercaud.
During the olden days, this rock hosted numerous kitty parties for the British women and was also one of their favourite hangouts for their chit-chats.
Emerald Lake is also popular as Yercaud Lake or Big Lake. Located 1.5 km from Yercaud Bus Stand. A good day out with family at Yercaud Lake is the most appropriate use of vacations you can make while in Yercaud. Quite interestingly, Yercaud Lake happens to be the only naturally occurring mountain lake in South India. Fountains along the lake look stunning while the 20-minute boat ride would certainly leave you pleased. Kids play area is one of the highlights of this place which makes it a must-visit.

The 32-Km Loop Road is actually a 32-km stretch, which begins from the Yercaud Lake and takes one through the much-appreciated roads and agricultural plantations of Yercaud.

A Yercaud trip is not complete until you have traveled all the way to Pagoda Point. Located 4.5 km from the main bus stand, the raised platform located on the eastern Yercaud Hills offers panoramic views of the surroundings. They named it Pyramid Point because of the four piles of stones lying in the shape of a pyramid. Located at a distance of 4 km from the Yercaud Bus Stand, the Killiyur Waterfalls is located in Servarayan Hill range of Eastern Ghats. One of the most sought-after places to visit in Salem district, the waterfalls is the ideal place to seek some resolute with yourself amidst nature.
The water from the Killiyur Falls cascades from an altitude of 300 feet in Kiliyur Valley and creates a majestic spectacle. The waterfall is a 2-km trek from the vehicle drop point. 6 pm is the upper limit for the tourists to visit the waterfalls.
